CPD ALLIANCE

The CPD Alliance was established as an informal group of professional societies on April 26, 2002. At that time, 16 leading professional organisations in Hong Kong joined hands together to pursue and attain the primary mission of: http://www.hkcpdalliance.org/

Promoting, delivering and enhancing continuing professional development mainly in Hong Kong, and as when appropriate opportunities arise, also in Mainland China and neighbouring countries.

After years of development, the Alliance now has 20 corporate members. All of them are prominent professional bodies in Hong Kong. The major objectives of the Alliance are:

To improve, elevate, promote and enhance the skills, competence and standards of professional practitioners by way of CPD;

To raise and drive the awareness of the value of, and hence the need for, CPD amongst professional practitioners;

To promote the benefits and enhance the quality of CPD education and training programs;

To assist and facilitate the establishment and delivery of CPD schemes and programs;

To promote and facilitate the pursuit for, and the sharing of, knowledge, information and experience relating to CPD

To raise the general public’s awareness of CPD through promoting the image of the Corporate Members; and

To promote the mutual recognition of CPD education and training programs organized and provide among member organizations.
